Happy Friday Lux Models!
Many view Fridays as THE day to begin the party so that's why we chose today to write and send this blog post!
As you walk into the weekend, we want to express the importance of promoting your profile. We make every effort to promote the website, but your efforts of promoting your link is equally essential to gaining a fanbase. We want to see you grow and get popular, so we're going to give you a few tips on how you can promote your link.
1. Create ads. There are free ad sites that offer the opportunity for you to create an ad and add your link. We recommend making sure you create your ad in the personal's section and add a picture to help entice clients to click your link. Your picture does not have to and absolutely should not contain nudity. On some of these sites, you can either center your ad to appear in one specific area, or all of U.S. and other countries.
Here are a few ad sites you can create free ads on:
- usnetads.com
- usaonlineclassifieds.com
- affiliateclassifiedads.com
- classifiedadsubmissionservice.com
- makemoneydonothing.com
- funkyfreeads.com
- bigdaddyads.com
- locanto.com
- http://www.canetads.com/
- http://www.aunetads.com/
- http://www.hotwebads.net/freelink/add.php (you can add your link for free, just click on any link and you'll see up top where you can add a brief description and add your link. We recommend adding your link at least once or twice a week (or more) to keep your link at the top.
Please note that when creating your personal ads, it's important to remain tasteful, personal, understanding, and inviting. What we have found was, customers love to feel wanted and like they are connecting with you. It's also important to be transparent about what services you offer, and how they can connect with you. Adding keywords into your ads helps your profile gain huge traction in the SEO.
Providing incentives in your ad is helpful, such as letting customers know they can register for free, and they will receive 4 free tokens when they create an account. Letting customers know you're online and if you're not online, letting them know when you will be online again is a great way to help them understand your schedule. If you're selling media on your profile, you can advise them to try their hand at buying your media while you are away. Letting them know that they can send you a message while you're away also helps them connect. These free ad sites ask that you don't duplicate your ads so try creating different ads for each site.
**We have also found that there are some states that like certain types of adult content so creating ads to reach a certain crowd can be equally helpful. (We'll make another blog with the stats we've found for different states. It was rather interesting to say the least. I personally gagged and saw hearts at the same damn time, 😂.)**
2. Creating a blog. This has been super helpful for one of our models. They create a blog and post the blog to different groups on Facebook as anonymous. If you're on Facebook, try joining groups where you can add any link, phone sex groups, and blog promotion groups. One thing about marketing sex is, society is not very accepting; so marketing can be very challenging. We've had to figure out ways to cut corners and post less invasive links for traction so it's important to know which platforms and groups you'll be able to promote adult content. Twitter also known as X is a great platform to promote. Luckily they don't flag posts (for now). If you have an X account, they allow you to add your link to your bio, we highly recommend you do that. You don't have to create an account with your real name, it can very much be your stage name, with your picture that you have on your LP profile.
Update regarding Facebook: Facebook is now flagging and automatically removing direct links to phone sex sites/profiles. Even in the "share any link" groups, and "phone sex" groups. Best way to market your profile in Facebook groups would be to create a blog highlighting your profile and posting your blog link to Facebook and its groups should you wish to continue using Facebook as a platform for networking.
Back to the blogs. There are two blog sites that we know of who would allow adult content. They are Blogger and Tumblr. Be careful when you create a blog, not to make it sound like an ad or too explicit with sex. Blogger does not allow content that sounds like an ad or content that is too explicit. Try to create a generic title when you're writing your blog. When creating your blog post, we suggest talking about your experience as a sex worker, and then adding your platforms. We've found you can't say things like "hey guys come see me on xxx and exchange pictures!" Blogger will flag you and investigate your blog. It you post too many links, Blogger will flag your blog as spam.
Quora and Reddit are also good platforms, but we've found them to be confusing and consuming. Again to each it's own. We recommend you go where the wind blows you for comfort. 😊
3. Make business cards. Now we know this may be a stretch but it's also a helpful way to help promote your profile. Your name doesn't have to be on the business card. Just your profile link. You can create cards that have a QR code so people can just scan and it brings them right to your profile link (also known as the log in/registration page - LOL).
4. Forums. This is tricky because there are forums out there for sex workers. But they are few and far in between and they too, heavily monitor content that's shared on their sites. We recommend creating a profile and if they offer a spot where you can place your link, post your profile link. Forums want you to engage with others and really build connections while you're promoting your profiles. It's a way to help people get to know you and visit your page. Weird flex and can be confusing, we know, but it's helpful in it's own way. climaxconnection.com is a good sex forum site. We will warn you, though, because too many people are offering free sex services, a lot of the men on this site will try and solicit you for free time. But if you make your point of why you're there very clear, they will eventually see what you're about and visit your site. We recommend giving them small talk, get them to like you and then tell them where they can find you to keep chatting, i.e. your profile. (Hopefully that's allowed because websites often tell people not to communicate outside of said website but the guys send their phone numbers anyway.) This website also has it where you can add your blog page, so you can even tell guys to just check out your blog to know you more. That's a great way not to get flagged for trying to get them to see your profile out of the forum site.
5. Flyers! If you have access to a printer, or even if you don't canva.com is a great platform to create flyers. You can save your design for free and print, or you can pay for at least 10 flyers for a small price. Posting flyers (waaaaaaayyyy outside of your immediate area) is VERY helpful!
6. Streaming and promoting. Streaming on platforms such as OnlyFans and YouNow are a cool way to build connections get people addicted to you and you can casually mention your profile. (I personally LOVE YouNow, because you don't have to show your face while you stream and promote. I just streamed yesterday for the first time in over 5 years and it was rather refreshing. I didn't have to show my face, I gained quite a few fans on my first day, and I was able to comment in my own comment section. No shade, I personally do not like OnlyFans but I appreciate the flexibility and ability to use that platform for the sole purpose of promoting LP.) If you create a blog, and stream on YouNow, you can add your blog link to your comment section. UPDATE: You can comment in your section, but you cannot add links on YouNow. Best advice would be to casually mention Luxurious Pleasures when engaging in live streams with your watchers.
As always we want you to be successful but careful too. While these platforms are great ways to promote, they can also be tricky and restrict adult content. In any event we hope that this post will help you overcome some of the possible hurdles while helping you get around said hurdles. Always, always, always, add keywords when you're promoting your profile. It will gain traction in the search engine and more traffic will come to you.
Another quick note (not so quick ha! This post is pretty long), we want to reiterate that customers will need to register when coming to the site. We have received questions about this, and we want to express that while we are new, we are very adamant on not offering free peep shows or free previews. That is how the porn industry became saturated. We instead encourage you to add a teaser with clothes on, with a special note on social media to entice clients to come and want more. We want their commitment to our intimate world of secrecy we have here. Their commitment to the site is free with the option of buying tokens, not subscriptions. We want them to want to follow you and commit to you. To be apart of LP is to be a part of a world that is with class, understanding, building a community based on similar interests, and being creative in our own little bubble. We want LP to be the buzz that offers the exclusivity in which caters to people who want it.
We know this was an eye full, and you don't have to explore every suggestion we listed, but we hope that covers any promoting questions and provides some sort of guidance for you. It's all about doing what best fits your comfort level.
If there is anything we missed and you'd like to share, please feel free to leave your suggestions and/or feedback in the comment section.
We hope this helps!
Happy chatting! And cheers to the freaking weekend!
